My work sits in the space between a good intention and a delivered outcome.

Government has mandates and money. Industry has capability and capital. Communities have the need, the trust, and the local knowledge that determines whether anything actually works. Each one speaks a different language, moves on a different clock, and measures success differently. Projects stall in the translation.

I do the translation. I sit in the agency meeting and the community meeting and the vendor negotiation, and I make the three of them describe the same project. Then I build the plan that survives all three — funded, staffed, permitted, and governed.

Over the course of that work I kept watching the same thing happen at the end. Organizations would deliver something genuinely valuable — a platform, a curriculum, a methodology, a dataset — and walk away owning none of it. So ownership became the seventh step, and SuiteIP™ became the part of the practice I care most about.
